About A Walk in Zhyanna's Shoes
Our History
Zhyanna has been living in the author's mind for over forty years. She is a compilation of the author's two daughters, Zandile and Zena. Zhyanna was born into the world of books upon meeting the Illustrator, Lina Asmar. Papillio and Zena's tuxedo cat, Mimi, were cast in this story much later as the author and the illustrator began to collaborate. Mimi will likely be cast in all of my forthcoming books. There is much to learn from A Walk in Zhyanna's Shoes. Everyone's shoes have a story. Enjoy their journey!!
